Tata Nexon – India’s Best-Selling Car!
That’s right! For September 2025, the Tata Nexon is the best-selling SUV in India. Not just that, the Nexon is now the best-selling car as well, leaving behind every other hatchback, sedan, MPV and SUV. In September 2025, Tata managed to sell a whopping 22,573 units of the Nexon. When compared to August sales data, the Tata SUV has jumped up from the 5th position, all the way to the top. In August, Tata recorded 14,004 units of the Nexon. Thanks to the GST price cuts and the festive season, the Nexon has overtaken every other car on the list. Tata has also recorded a year-on-year growth of 97%. To conclude, the Nexon is not only the best-selling SUV, but also the best-selling car in India, for September 2025.

The substantial bump in sales figures is courtesy of both the ICE and the EV versions. an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. The Nexon has achieved five stars in safety from the BNCAP. Its EV alternative gets a few additional features over the ICE version. The Nexon is also available as an EV with either a 30 kWh battery (275 km range) or a 45 kWh battery (489 km range). The Tata SUV gets 2 powertrain options: a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine (118 bhp & 170 Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (113 bhp & 260 Nm). The Nexon carries a price tag ranging from Rs 8.61 Lakh to Rs 16.94 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The EV version has a price tag between Rs 13.22 Lakh and Rs 18.56 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
