This new toll system has been introduced at the Choryasi Free Plaza in Gujarat, on the NH-48. The agreement for this toll was signed in the presence of NHAI chairman, Santosh Kumar Yadav, along with senior officials from NHAI, IHMCL and ICICI bank, at the NHAI headquarters in New Delhi. This agreement also includes the installation of another (MLFF) toll system at the Gharaunda Free Plaza in Haryana, along the NH-44. How Does It Work?

Multi-lane free-flow tolls are essentially barrier-free tolls that allow vehicles to pass by without coming to a halt. Such tolls use high-performance RFID readers and ANPR cameras, which can scan your vehicle registration number. This allows for a seamless toll collection through FASTag, without stopping the vehicle. These systems will help in reducing traffic at the toll plazas.
