Yes, that’s right! Among the 26 upcoming cars, Hyundai is likely to launch an all-new 7-seater, which could be the best upgrade for Innova Hycross owners. Talking of which, Hyundai Motors has confirmed the launch of a new 7-seater MPV. Now, it could be an affordable MPV – alternative to Kia Carens Clavis, or the premium alternative for the Kia Carnival. Talking about the Carnival-based MPV, the brand has Staria in the global market. That being said, if Hyundai launches the new Staria, it could offer a more affordable alternative to the Kia Carnival.

Hyundai Staria – Features & Specifications


So, what does the Staria offer? For starters, it is the space & luxury that the MPV offers. The luxury Hyundai MPV measures 5253mm in length & has an impressive wheelbase of 3273mm. And yes, the numbers do translate to an equally remarkable cabin space. In its 7-seater avatar, the Staria offers individual Ottoman seats in the second row. And for your comfort, these seats come with features like a ventilation function. Apart from that, some notable features include – dual sunroofs, ambient lighting, 12-speaker Bose sound system, 8-way powered seats, electric boss seats, Level 2 ADAS, powered sliding doors, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and more in its package.
Talking about its powertrain, the Staria is powered by a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine producing 175bhp and 431Nm – mated to an 8-speed AT and 6-speed MT gearbox transmission options. Apart from that, the Staria also comes with another 3.5-litre turbo petrol engine (268bhp and 331Nm) mated to only an 8-speed AT gearbox.
