There are high stakes that Mahindra can launch the new XEV 7e in November. The automaker recently revealed its two SUVs with new upgrades, so having another upgraded SUV doesn’t make sense.

While its a speculation, however if Hyundai launches this new electric SUV – it can be a 7-seater electric offering. This electric SUV is expected to be placed above the Mahindra XEV 9e in the brand’s lineup, which means it will get more advanced tech & features. Also it can get an AWD configuration to trouble the Tata Harrier EV!

Now, there’s not much of information disclosed about this 7-seater electric, but we expect it to have a design similar to the XEV 9e – i.e a modern look, with triangular headlamp setup connected by a full DRL strip on the front, new aero-styled alloys, flush door handles, a sloping roofline (keeping in mind the headroom for 3rd row passengers) & LED tail lamps connected with a light bar along with Mahindra’s new infinity logo.

On its inside, the model is expected to carry features from its sibling, XEV 9e. Some notable ones include – Triple screen setup, Harman Kardon sound system, 7 airbags, HUD, ambient lighting, dual wireless chargers, powered front seats, panoramic glass roof, ADAS suite and more.

We also expect the model to carry the battery pack options from the XEV 9e – a 59 kWh with and 79 kWh. To make it more interesting, the SUV maker might also offer an AWD configuration with this 3-row electric SUV. As this is just a speculation, however Mahindra is expected to confirm more launch details in the coming time.

Apart from the electric SUV, Mahindra can also launch the updated XUV700 in November. The brand has been reportedly spotted testing the model. But, while the Indian SUV maker has already launched two updated models this year, the XUV700 update can be put on hold.

However, if Mahindra decides to launch three updated models – here’s everything you must know about the updated 3-row SUV.

Now, with an updated version, we expect the model to even get a new name, just like how XUV 300 changed in XUV 3XO, similarly the XUV 700 can be poised as XUV 7XO. Align with that the new model will get some enhancements like updated exterior design – we have already seen the new grille design in spyshots, new refreshed bumpers, new LED headlamps, LED taillamps, new alloy wheels and more!

The model is also expected to get a major overhaul on the inside. That said, expect it to get some new features from its flagship electric sibling. Some expected features include – a triple screen display, Level 2+ ADAS, 16-speaker Harman Kardon, ventilated rear seats, and a powered tailgate in its package.

Under the hood, the model is expected to carry the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel engine. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed manual & 6-speed AT gearbox options. For now, the brand has been tight lipped on disclosing anything about this SUV. More details about the model is expected to be revealed as we near its launch.
