MG Cyberster Sales –

Launched back in July, JSW MG has registered a total sales of 256 units of its sports car – Cyberster till now. In an SUV biased country, this MG sports car seems to get a better demand than many SUVs in the country.
Unlike the other cars, where the brand announces the dispatch numbers, MG disclosed the delivered units of its sports car. And what shocked us more was, MG has delivered the cyberster matching with the dispatch units of the Astor. In the last two months, MG has dispatched around 250 units or a bit more units of the Astor. At present, the MG Cyberster has been reportedly having a waiting period of nearly 4 months.
Now, a major thing to note is that the Cyberster is sold under the new premium dealership chain – MG Select, which doesn’t have that much reach like its regular showrooms. Only a handful of chains are open currently. Even with such less reach of dealerships, the brand is able to get good sales of its premium models.
Apart from that, at the price point of MG Cyberster, the buyers can easily choose to bring a luxury car home. But still, many people are putting their money on a sports car. The sports car is currently priced at Rs 79.17 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
