Skoda Octavia RS Sold Out!

Skoda India has just created another record for itself with the Octavia RS. The initial batch of 100 units sold out within 20 minutes of pre-bookings. Which means that  the Octavia RS will no longer be available for sale, unless and until Skoda decides to bring in another lot. So, although not officially, the Octavia RS has been discontinued in a way 😀

What’s interesting is that all the units were sold out in 20 minutes – despite having to pay Rs 2.50 lakh as a booking amount. In fact, the enthusiastic buyers booked the car ahead of the official price announcement on October 17. And that’s another interesting aspect, as we are expecting the car to be launched above Rs 60 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). That said, the deliveries are scheduled to begin on November 6. But what’s so special about the upcoming Skoda Octavia RS?

What’s So Special?

Skoda Octavia RS is making a comeback after 4 years in the country. The RS badge holds a special place in the hearts of enthusiasts – thanks to the sheer performance and aura. Similar characteristics will be carried forward with the new 2025 model. Talking of which, the new Octavia RS will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine (261bhp and 370Nm). Transmission duties will be handled by a 7-speed DSG. Apart from the blistering performance, the RS will be a feature-loaded car. The hot family sedan is expected to offer features like a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a head-up display with augmented reality, ventilated and powered front seats with massage function, and the list goes on.

Skoda Octavia RS Sold Out – What Else?

The Octavia vRS have been the enthusiast’s favourite sedan for years, and the sold-out 2025 Octavia RS proves that point. While many of you will not get to own an Octavia RS, it will be a sight to behold when you spot one on the streets.
